The QFX Fluorometer from DeNovix allows accurate fluorescence quantification with a versatile set of four fluorescence channels and a proprietary optical core. DeNovix offers LED excitation sources in the UV, blue, green and red ranges whereas Thermo Fisher Qubit™ 3.0 and Qubit™ 4.0 fluorometers offer only a blue and red excitation sources. The additional sources provide the ability to use assays such as the DeNovix Broad Range dsDNA fluorescence assay which is not suitable for Thermo Fisher Qubit™ instruments.
Combined, the QFX Fluorometer and the DeNovix range of Fluorescence Assays provide the widest dynamic range and highest sensitivity of quantification available. The DeNovix QFX provides a lower dsDNA detection limit 20x below the Thermo Fisher Qubit™ fluorometer and an upper range of 2x higher.
