Trypan Blue is commonly used in cell culture labs for selectively staining dead cells and tissues. However, fluorescence cell counting methods offer improved accuracy for many applications, including challenging sample types like primary cells and isolated nuclei.
In this webinar, DeNovix Scientific Director Dan Schieffer explains the advantages of fluorescence for cell counting and viability assessment. Dan compares how brightfield and fluorescence viability dyes work, demonstrates several types of measurements using the CellDrop Automated Cell Counter, and answers audience questions during a live Q&A session.
This webinar was co-hosted by Elvis Pérez of Bonsai Lab, the distributor of DeNovix instruments in Spain and Portugal.
